MONKS

Exciting to hear that Monks are back with a new track and a gig at the Arts Club on 6th November.

Genre-bending and hard to pin down, they have always delivered great records, and if you haven’t seen them live, then quite frankly, you should be ashamed of yourself.

From playing on rooftops to clubs around the UK and France, Monks have been bubbling away, producing their latest track, Horizons, inspired by 00s tech house and industrial field recording sounds from their hometown, Liverpool. City life. The track is inspired by heartbreak, loss and looking for what’s next in life.

The bouncing bass line that carries through the track is bound and ready to hit the clubs on their UK/EU tour in October. Supported by a montage music video of the band performing on a rooftop, sponsored by clothing outlet Sevenstore and supported by BBC 6 Introducing.
