KEEPING LCR MUSIC VENUES THRIVING

KEEPING LCR MUSIC VENUES THRIVING

Music venues across the Liverpool City Region have faced growing challenges in recent years, from rising costs to transport issues and changing audiences.

When venue owners, managers and gig promoters came together for “Putting Music Venues on the Map”, they proved that working together could lead to real change. Their ideas helped create a venues map that is now used to support advocacy and lobbying, and they also played a part in bringing back the night bus service in 2023.

Now, the Liverpool City Region Music Board is bringing the sector together once again. This follow-up event is a chance to reflect on what has been achieved so far, discuss the challenges and opportunities facing venues in 2026 and beyond, and help shape a new action plan for live music across the Liverpool City Region.
