UK ARTIST TOURING (UKAT) FUND
What the UKAT Fund Is
The UK Artist Touring (UKAT) fund is a new initiative from the Featured Artists Coalition (FAC), created with the Music Managers Forum and the Musicians’ Union, and financially backed by the LIVE Trust.
Its goal is to help artists tour across the UK without losing money, especially at the grassroots and mid-level touring stage.
Why It Exists
Touring has become increasingly expensive for many artists (transport, crew, venues, etc.). The fund aims to:
-
Cover financial shortfalls in touring budgets
-
Reduce financial risk for artists going on tour
-
Support grassroots venues and the live music ecosystem
-
Encourage diversity in genres, regions, and cultures
-
Help artists build audiences and careers
Who Can Apply
The fund is designed to be very open:
-
Artists from any genre
-
From any part of the UK
-
At any career stage
-
From all backgrounds
