SOUND CITY: BEST EMERGING TALENT AWARD

Great to see Liverpool Sound City winning the Best Initiative for Emerging Talent at the UK Festival Awards in Manchester earlier this week.

This award recognises Sound City’s ongoing commitment to supporting and developing new music talent, both through the festival itself and their year-round emerging talent programmes.

It was also fantastic to see Radio 1’s Big Weekend, held in Sefton Park this year, pick up The Green Award. They worked closely with us on sustainability initiatives as part of the UN Accelerator City programme, making this recognition especially rewarding.
