TOM MCCONNELL
One of the city’s most consistently interesting artists Tom McConnell is back with his latest release under the guise of Novelty Island.
Tom has released music under a number of different names but his Novelty island records have always been a treat. Tom himself has described Novelty Island as ‘Paul McCartney having an argument with Bernard Black’ and that sums it up.
Not content with producing another new album Tom has also put together an exhibition of paper mache models to go alongside the album which is entitledJigsaw Causeway which apparently has a cover featuring over 50,000 jigsaw pieces!
